In every piece signed by Mod Deruta Lab, there's much more than an object: there's a gesture, a story, a vision. We are Ivan, Giacomo, and Selene — a family that has been preserving the art of ceramics in Deruta, one of the oldest and most authentic centers of Italian craftsmanship, for generations. At our side, a team of extraordinary artisans who bring their experience, passion, and talent to every single piece every day.
Our work stems from a profound respect for a centuries-old tradition, which we continue to proudly preserve. But we don't simply repeat: reinterpreting is our way of honoring the past while looking to the future. We believe that craftsmanship is a living language, capable of expressing the authentic beauty of the handmade, where every nuance is unique and every line embodies care, experience, and emotion.

Our production is divided into two distinct identities, two different ways of telling Deruta — both born from the same land, from the same kilns, from the same hands.
The historical collections — the Renaissance motifs, the classical decorations, the shapes that have made Deruta famous worldwide. It is the living memory of a centuries-old tradition: artisanal Umbrian majolica in its most authentic form.
