Food Safety & Certifications

All our ceramics intended for food use are made with glazes and colors certified for contact with food, in compliance with current European regulations (EC Regulation 1935/2004).

Our majolica tiles are safe for:

• Serving and consuming food and drinks
• Contain cold and room temperature foods
• Daily use at the table

All our majolica tableware is dishwasher safe . However, since it is hand-painted and made of terracotta, we recommend hand washing if used frequently or intensively .

This is not because of the risk of discoloration, but because excessive water absorbency and poor drying can make the ceramic more fragile internally and cause small external chips over time.

Microwave
Our ceramics can be used in the microwave to reheat food. However, we recommend careful use: avoid prolonged cooking times or high temperatures, which could cause the piece to break.

Direct flame
Do not use on direct flame or electric hobs.

You can safely use common dish detergents

Packaging
We carefully package each piece, ensuring maximum protection for worldwide shipments. Depending on the order volume, we can choose individual boxes or pallet shipping for larger orders.

• Products in stock : shipping in 1-2 working days
• Non-stock products: production time approximately 15 days before shipping

Express Shipping
For urgent orders, we offer an express shipping service upon request, with delivery in 1-3 days . For this type of service, please contact us directly to arrange production and delivery.

Tracking
Each shipment includes a tracking number sent via email upon shipment.

Return Policy
We accept returns only for defective products or those damaged during shipping. We do not accept returns for afterthoughts or for aesthetic reasons inherent to handcrafting (natural imperfections, glaze variations, unique designs).

How to request a return
The customer must submit the return request within 7 days of receiving the goods, documenting the defect or damage with clear photos of the product. Requests received after this deadline will not be accepted.

Products damaged during shipping
If a product arrives damaged, we offer free reshipment . Please document the damage with photos upon receipt and contact us within 7 business days of delivery.

Customized products
Customized pieces are not subject to return unless documented manufacturing defects.

Each of our products is entirely handcrafted by master ceramists in Deruta. For this very reason, each piece is unique and one-of-a-kind.

Natural imperfections
Small raised grains, textured effects, slight variations in the glaze, or tiny dots are part of the artisanal nature of the piece and are an expression of its authenticity. These characteristics do not constitute manufacturing defects and are not subject to dispute or return.

The drawing
The decorations on our pieces are handcrafted by ceramic artists. For this reason, each piece will look similar to the photo, but will never be identical. This uniqueness is the true value of handmade craftsmanship.
